This certificate is designed to prepare students for the American Welding Society (AWS) and/or International Code Council (ICC) Welding Inspector examinations.

At the completion of this program, students will be able to: 

1. Show an understanding of the general breadth of knowledge required to pass the AWS certified welding inspector (CWI) examination.
2. Show an understanding of the general breadth of knowledge required to pass the ICC welding inspector examination.
3. Perform visual inspection of welds to AWS standards.
